Emperors, kings and presidents all bear dependence
Upon taxation as a means of fuelling subservience
No war can be fought, no power can be maintained
If money created by the people cannot be claimed

Municipalities benefit from seizure and forfeiture
Increasing the list of crimes upon the entrepreneur
This state sponsored theft encourages profligation,
Subsidies, wars and regulations

Our only weapons of recompense
Are to vote, gripe or bear the expense
Though our votes only elect representatives
Who have no incentive to heed our preferences

Place no hope of betterment in changing the party or man in office
For so long as rulers possess the power to tax, they will use that to harm us

Distribution of wealth creates dependency
A power only granted after 1913
Convincing people to increase spending
For fear of their government “assistance” ending

Corruption is expected when they control loopholes
You can keep your own money if you align with their goals
All it requires is some form of valuable donation
Straight to their pockets at the cost of our own nation

Distract the public with complexity
So they don’t question the necessity
Keep them focused on the IRS
Instead of spendings actual success

Place no hope of betterment in changing the party or man in office

Shroud the cost of wars behind public budgets
The average citizen doesn’t know the price of rockets
The burden of failure can be written off
Because the supply of funding can’t be cutoff
